28 Percent of Americans Have Abandoned the Religion of Their Parents
28% of American adults have left the denomination or faith of their parents for another or atheism. This is apparent from a survey conducted by The Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, an organization created in 2001 to promote understanding between religious and public affairs. This survey was conducted telephonically, including via cellular phones, using phone deals and T-Mobile Phones.
