2007 March 7, 2007 the Government of Venezuela announced a redenomination process, to be called the duration of the transition Bolivar Fuerte. Its emission is controlled by the Central Bank of Venezuela, being that established a change of 2.15 bol vares per dollar, which involves dividing one thousand (running three zeros) the bolivar circulating since 1879.
